These terms apply to the Rideshare Ledger website (the "Service"). The Service is operated by the publisher of Rideshare Ledger ("we", "us"). Contact: rideshareledger@gmail.com. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Informational use only
The Service gives general information about launches, rideshare missions, providers, licensing activity and jobs, compiled from public sources. It's for information only. It is not an offer to sell, book or broker launch services.
2. No advice
Nothing on the Service is legal, regulatory, export-control (ITAR/EAR), financial, insurance, engineering or procurement advice. Don't rely on it as a substitute for professional advice or for the official requirements of the FAA, FCC, NOAA, other regulators, or your launch provider.
3. Accuracy
We work to source and date every value, but launch dates, statuses, prices, capacity and regulatory information change often and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Our sources include third parties such as Launch Library 2 (The Space Devs), which says it can't guarantee 100% accuracy, and FederalRegister.gov, which is not an official legal edition of the Federal Register. Don't rely on the Service for mission-critical decisions. Always verify with the provider and other primary sources before making decisions.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. This includes lost profits, missed launches, delays, lost data or business interruption arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100. Some jurisdictions don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
6. Sponsors and labelling
The Service may carry sponsorships and featured placements. These are always labelled (for example, "Sponsored by" or "Featured · paid"). Sponsors don't influence tracker data, slip records, sources, ordering, guides or regulatory coverage. A sponsorship is not an endorsement by us, and sponsors are responsible for their own claims. Job listings are free, curated listings and are not endorsements of any employer.
7. Third-party links
The Service links to third-party sites, including launch providers, brokers, marketplaces, government sites and employers' job postings. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
8. No affiliation
We are not affiliated with any launch provider, broker, integrator, marketplace, government agency or employer listed on the Service, unless a placement is labelled as sponsored. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.
9. Content and data
Our original text, layout and compilation belong to us. Source data belongs to its respective owners and is credited: launch data from Launch Library 2 by The Space Devs, and regulatory items from the Federal Register API. You may share links and brief quotes with attribution. Please don't republish the Service in bulk or overload it with automated requests.
10. Changes and availability
We may change or discontinue any part of the Service, or update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
